Profile

David Gamlin Sr. is the Executive Vice President and Program Director for Midnight Golf Program and has served in that role since 2002. He is responsible to develop the training, sequence instruction, recruit and coordinate instructors and program evaluation. Mr. Gamlin directs the mentor recruiting and training for the more than 60 adults who serve the youth in the Program.  He helps enhance the relationships between Midnight Golf and its funding partners which include a number of philanthropic entities including Skillman Foundation, Bank of America, Pepsi, and the Jacobs Family Foundation. Ultimately, Mr. Gamlin is focused on consistently designing, developing and delivering best practices in youth development.

Between 1983 and 1996, Mr. Gamlin was as a successful institutional global equity trader for two major Wall Street investment firms. Between 1996 and 2003 he worked in operations, sales and marketing with two Detroit area automotive suppliers. Along with Midnight Golf, he also works as the Program Manager for Education and Youth Development at New Detroit.

David Gamlin Sr. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and French from Hillsdale College. He also studied Community Problem Solving at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
